President Joe Biden addressed a joint session of Congress, his first since becomming president, on April 28, 2021, a day before his 100th day in office. It was a smaller event than the normal State of the Union address, with only several hundred in the chamber and no special guests, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
