Kenyan Brigid Kosgei Smashes Women’s World Record At Chicago Marathon

Kenya's Brigid Kosgei won the 2019 Chicago Marathon on Sunday with at time of 2 hours 14 minutes and 4 seconds. Kosgei's time also marks a new world record marathon time. Quinn Harris/Getty Images

The 25-year-old runner finished in a time of 2:14:04 on Sunday, beating the previous record set by Britain's Paula Radcliffe in 2003 by 81 seconds. Read More
