Wonderful Women Wednesday with Marika Tomkins at Henry Earl Wines

Wonderful Woman Wednesday at Henry Earl = A WOMEN ONLY EVENING.

At Henry Earl, on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6-8pm we host a female-only evening with a featured female speaker. The intent is to create a safe space for all women to chat, connect, support and inspire each other.

We are so honored and grateful to have Marika Tomkins as our featured speaker for September.

About our speaker:
“It’s never too late to take the leap and start over again! After 15 years of working with youth in non-profits and educational leadership, I gave it all up to pursue my passion for community health and wellness. Besides becoming a mother, this was the biggest and most challenging turning point in my life. I went from a stable profession that I loved and had built seniority, leadership and solid footing, to the complete unknown of entrepreneurship and recreating myself. After leaving my first career I spent the next five years studying nutrition, yoga, teaching, marketing, basic web skills, wellness coaching and business. While these weren’t my most successful years, I slowly built the confidence and inner strength to pursue my true passion, opening up a brick and mortar studio, which I had dreamt of for at least a decade prior to actually doing it. In 2019 after the sudden death of both of my parents I got a boost of energy and resolve to do the thing, which was to open my first version of a studio: Tribe Vibes Yoga. I was shocked at how quickly it started to thrive and serve many in our community. My years worth of background work had created a lot of momentum!

Then in March 2020, when the world shut down, I was forced to close my doors. During this time, my long-time yogi friend and business conspirator, Britt Hodgen, moved back to town and decided to partner with me in this venture. We moved into a new location, rebranded and reopened Kaleidoscope Studios, as it is now known, in July of 2020. For the past 4+ years we have steadily built out a solid business that serves a large slice of wellness lovers in the Walla Walla region. I’m thrilled to continue to evolve my offerings of building leaders, breathwork and personal coaching within Kaleidoscope and beyond.
