VTC’s Rising Stars Production of: Disney’s Frozen JR.
This spring, Valley Theatre Company is taking Ellensburg by “snow”storm with Disney’s Frozen JR, offering captivating performances filled with memorable songs and heartwarming moments for everyone.
Valley Theatre Company is proud to present its Rising Stars series production based on the beloved film franchise and 2018 Broadway hit, Disney’s Frozen. VTC invites people of all ages to the magical land of Arendelle this spring to enjoy the nostalgic story of love, magic, and adventure with plenty of humor.
This enchanting rising star production follows the journey of Princesses Anna and Elsa as they discover the power of love and self-acceptance while meeting a cast of beloved characters along the way. Disney’s Frozen JR will include memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.
VTC’s Rising Stars program showcases the talents of young performers in 3rd to 8th grade. Disney’s Frozen JR features a cast of 31 students and an additional 19 assisting backstage, including a few high school students from EHS’s Thespian troupe. “We create a space where kids feel safe to explore their characters, make bold choices, and know their ideas are valued,” says CharRe Burnum, the director of Disney’s Frozen JR. “That’s where they find confidence and truly shine on stage.”
