“To Exist as a Problem: Race, Religion, and the Settler Colony”

This Religion/IRES co-sponsored discussion panel will feature presentations by visiting educator and Professor of German and Jewish Studies at UW Madison Adam Y. Stern and Cushing Eels Professor Zahi Zalloua, followed by a Q & A led by student panelists. The event will offer an interdisciplinary examination of the historical and conceptual linkages between the Jewish Question, the Palestinian Question, and the Black Question. The conversation will engage themes of race, religion, colonialism, and concepts of indigineity.
