Third Space Speakers Series presents: Amanda Nguyen

Amanda Nguyen is an activist and astronaut. She passed the Sexual Assault Survivor Bill of Rights unaniomously in the United States and United Nations through her organization Rise, and subsequently ignited the Stop Asian Hate movement in 2021. She will become the first Vietnamese woman to go to space when she flies on an upcoming Blue Origin launch. For her work she was nominated for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize and is a 2022 TIME Woman of the Year. Amanda’s first memoir, Saving Five, will be published in March 2025.
