Cowiche Canyon Conservancy is excited to host a day of folk and bluegrass music, delicious food, family-friendly art and educational activities, and more!
Steppe into the Square will focus on the ways we can access and support our beautiful ecosystem, the shrub-steppe. Learn about local trails as well as how to rewild our yards, parks, farms, hearts and minds.
Steppe into the Square will feature a lineup of local folk musicians including Root Biscuit (Julie Conley, Sally Rose, and Jeff Parker), Jeff Main, and Scatter Creek. Great Tieton eateries – like Fernando’s, Don Mateo’s, and Wallflower Social – will be open during the day for food and drinks. Visitors can also buy local produce and native plants and get gardening and landscaping tips from local experts.
