The Seattle Sunshine Swing Dance is a daytime dance for everyone!
So call up some friends, grab the family and come on over!

1:15 – 1:45pm Beginner Drop-In Lesson
1:45 – 3:45pm Swing Dance

Drop-In Lesson
The Beginner Lesson will teach 6-count Lindy Hop (the original Swing dance), sometimes referred to as Jitterbug or East Coast Swing.

What is Swing dancing?
‘Swing dancing’ is Black American art form that originated in Harlem, New York, in 1928. It’s an umbrella term for a family of dances that are done to swinging Jazz music.

All ages welcome!
The goal for this is event is to be an intergenerational event. Feel free to bring the whole family, we want people of all ages to feel welcome. Parents are responsible for their own kids!

How much does it cost?
This dance runs on a pay-what-you-can* model (suggested $15).
There will be no people asking for money at the door, we run on the honor system.

How to pay?
Pay in advance by using the website (www.fluidandformless.com/sunshine).
Pay at the event using a QR code posted on the door (for Venmo & Square).
A drop box is near the DJ for those who prefer to bring cash (no change is available).
