Please join us on Tuesday, October 29th at the historic McConnell Mansion for the final Parlor Talk in conjunction with the “Those Wacky Victorians: Early 1800s Hobbies” exhibit where we will explore spiritualism. Curious why the Victorians were obsessed with the macabre? Learn all about art made of human hair, séances, crystal gazing, and the spookier side of late 1800s hobbies. Guests are encouraged, but not required, to come dressed in their best Victorian era garb. Please note: no actual séances will be conducted. Doors open at 5:30pm with the program beginning at 6pm. This event is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be provided.

“Those Wacky Victorians” will officially close at the end of October, be sure to stop the McConnell Mansion at 110 South Adams St in Moscow before it’s too late. It is open for regular tour hours Tuesday through Friday, 1 to 4pm, and some Saturdays.
