NSEA Kenney Creek Planting Party

Join us and the Whatcom Land Trust in a restoration effort to protect and enhance critical salmon habitat along Kenney Creek, where the creek meets the North Fork of the Nooksack River. The Whatcom Land Trust recently acquired this property to conserve the lower reaches of the creek permanently. Volunteers will plant native trees and shrubs to improve habitat along the creek, ensuring a diverse and healthy environment for returning fish. Come help us restore this vital ecosystem and contribute to the long-term health of Kenney Creek and the wildlife it supports! Registration recommended as space is limited.
