Milburn Day: Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

The KPAC will honor the legacy of founder Milburn Kenworthy with a free screening of one of Milburn’s favorite films, GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES. Executive Director Colin Mannex will open the event with a brief history of KPAC. Everyone will receive a complimentary small popcorn, courtesy of Milburn’s granddaughter, Kimberly Kenworthy Manaut, who is sponsoring this event.

Showgirls Lorelei Lee and Dorothy Shaw travel to Paris, pursued by a private detective hired by the suspicious father of Lorelei’s fiancé, as well as a rich, enamored old man and many other doting admirers. Anchored by Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell’s sparkling magnetism, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is a delightfully entertaining 1950s musical.
