Matika Wilbur | Changing the Way We See Native America: Dismantling Native American Stereotypes

CWU celebrates Native American Heritage Month with a special presentation and exhibit by Matika Wilbur, from the Swinomish and Tulalip Tribes. Wilbur is a celebrated photographer, speaker, filmmaker, podcast host of All My Relations, and NYT best-selling author of Project 562: Changing the Way We See Native America. She recently made her directorial debut for the film “One Small Thing,” currently touring the international film circuit. Join us for a compelling presentation and exhibit of her work, with a reception and book signing to follow. Her book and select merchandise will be available for purchase.

Doors open at 5:30, please arrive early to be seated by 6 p.m. start. Free and open to the public. Parking is free in university lots after 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise marked.
