INTERESTED IN THE IMPACT FEDERAL FUNDING CUTS MAY HAVE ON KITTITAS COUNTY?

April 16 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

League of Women Voters of Kittitas County will host a panel discussion to explore the local impacts of current and proposed federal budget and staffing cuts on Kittitas County services.
Wednesday, April 16, 7pm, IOOF Odd Fellows Lodge, 307 N. Pine, Ellensburg.
The panel discussion will focus on providing information about local impacts that would affect community members of all political persuasions including these important questions:
● What level of federal support does your organization or agency currently receive?
● What would be the impact of a reduction or elimination of that funding?
● Are there options for alternate funding sources, and what challenges would be involved in securing that funding?
Speakers include Heidi Behrends Cerniwey, Ellensburg City Manager; Bryan Elliott, Kittitas County Auditor; Jason Adler, CEO Kittitas Valley Healthcare; and Peggy Morache, President FISH Community Food Bank.
A Q&A session will follow.
THE EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
