Handel’s Messiah Sing Along

Join us for a community-wide Messiah Sing-Along!  What better way to experience the season than singing Handel’s great masterpiece, Messiah!  We’ll sing Part One, commonly called the “Christmas Section,” plus the Hallelujah Chorus.  Experience singing familiar choruses to our 22-rank historic Kimball pipe organ with hundreds of other voices.

Soloists: Nicole Lamartine, soprano; Charlotte Casler, alto; Jakob Kennicutt, tenor; Philip Cutlip, bass.  Acclaimed organist, Dr. Margaret Gries, will be at the organ.  Lee R. Bates, UMC Music Director, will conduct.

A limited supply of G. Schirmer scores will be available on loan for the event, but guests are encouraged to bring their own score.  No tickets necessary, but donations gladly accepted.  Suggested donation general $10, student/senior $5.
