Author Event With Randy’L Teton

November 13 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the University of Idaho Library, in partnership with the Latah County Historical Society, will welcome Idaho author Randy’L Teton to Moscow on Wednesday, November 13th, at 6:30pm in the 1912 Center’s Lecompte Auditorium. Teton is an enrolled member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribe of Fort Hall and a Native American historian. In 2023 she published It’s Her Story: Sacajawea, a graphic novel about a brilliant, multilingual Shoshone girl who was torn from her home and later became an interpreter and guide for the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Teton will also appear at the University of Idaho Library on Thursday, Nov. 14th at 12:30pm. Both events are free and open to the public, and copies of the book will be available for purchase.
