ArborFest

Dive into a day of nature and discovery at the Yakima Area Arboretum’s free ArborFest on April 12th from 10 am to 3pm!

This year, they’re emphasizing the importance of water to the world around us with the theme “River of Life: Every Drop Matters!” Each of the educational booths will feature a quick lesson or activity related to the essential connection between our plants, trees, crops, animals, and the water that sustains them. This free day of family fun will include approximately 30 educational booths featuring arts and craft activities and interactive exhibits. Provided by Yakima County Solid Waste Division, each child will be given a stamp book to collect records of their booth visits to be turned in for a small prize at the end.
