5th Annual Auction: Skagit River Poetry Foundation

The Skagit River Poetry Foundation, an education nonprofit based in Mount Vernon, invites the community to their 5th annual auction and brunch, “A Child’s Garden of (the uni) Verse” on Sunday May 4th from 1:00pm to 4:30pm at the Vinery at Christianson’s Nursery in Mount Vernon, WA. The featured event will be the live and silent auction where attendees will bid on a wide range of items, experiences, and packages that will appeal to a wide range of interests and will pique curiosities for new adventures. Take a stroll through the Foundation’s history as they share their work of strengthening student’s literacy skills through the Poets in Schools Program, collaborating with poets across the nation to host the Skagit River Poetry Festival in La Conner, WA every two years, and sponsoring poetry and community events. Funds raised will support student learning, mental and emotional health, and community enrichment. This garden party themed auction that will include brunch, beverages, desserts, games, activities, and even a photo booth. Attend the event and give so they may continue to blossom through the power of poetic expression.
