Mihail Kivachitky: Balanced

July 11 @ 4:00 pm - August 29 @ 5:00 pm

Free

Join us at the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center on July 11th at 4 p.m. for the opening reception of Mihail Kivachitky: Balanced.

Artist Mihail Kivachitsky has been working with themes of balance and visible and invisible harmony since 1993. He explains his work as having a metaphysical basis that touches on the divine.

“Balance…maybe what you see is happening right now, or maybe thousands of years ago…maybe you are an eyewitness, and it is next to you, or maybe in a parallel Universe, these are manifestations that we can see in the tangible world and subtle matters of the spiritual nature of man and the Universe. I see my role as a mediator – a stalker – in a continuous search and movement, showing patterns and unity – perhaps this is my understanding of art, and then I translate it onto canvas or bronze – this is already a matter of technology. “ – Mihail Kivachitsky

This catered event also hosts Art After Hours. We will have a variety of scrapbooking supplies out to create your own set of Clothespin Magnets for yourself or a friend. Our Art After Hours program is our time to kick the kids out of the craft room and let you enjoy some time to yourself, an evening with friends, or even a date night.
