Composting in Action Workshop Part 1

Workshop 2 of 4 for the Sustainable Living Center’s (SLC) 2025 Composting Workshop Series. See the composting process in action as we explore the in-bed worm composting and three-bin static pile systems at the Green Park Elementary School Garden. Hear from gardener Nathan about his experience establishing the system, challenges he encountered, their solutions, and how he has begun incorporating cafeteria food waste into the systems. Learn how composting has engaged students and how the compost made has impacted his garden space. SLC’s workshops are open to the public and are offered on a ‘Pay What You Can’ basis.
