She has also played many of the local music festivals including The Tumbleweed Music Festival, WinterHop BrewFest, Hippies Music Festival/Show ‘n’ Shine, and Caterwaul Music Festival to name a few.
She has been featured on three of the local radio stations including an hour long interview and 16 song set on KTCV The Edge 88.1 as well as appearing on KVEW TV’s Good Morning Northwest. She has opened for the Hell’s Bells, Pat Travers Band, Quarterflash and Talia Keys among others. She has also previouslly played with her band, A Minor Obsession.
Description of my music Americana/Blues/Folk
Pamela Thomas-Martin is known for her powerful, sultry vocals, skillful songwriting as well as putting her own take on well chosen covers.
Her original tunes as well as many of the covers on her set list are often filled with haunting melodies and lyrics filled with images of life’s many human moments and cautionary tales as well as the occasional old fashioned murder ballad thrown in for good measure.
She interprets the emotional depths of those living and some not. Many have said her covers seem to take on a life of their own as she winds and weaves them into her spellbinding performances. The stories and songs fill out quite nicely with a sound that is unique and leaves you wanting more. You’ll have these songs stuck in your head for days. Maybe they will haunt you for nights too.”
