Violinist Grant Donnellan offers the fourth installment of his popular musical travelogue series. This year, he explores the rich musical heritage and his personal connection with Scandinavian culture.

He and pianist Judith Widrig have curated a selection of works by Edvard Grieg and Jean Sibelius, as well as “discoveries” by romantic Swedish composer Amanda Maier, and contemporary Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho.

Full-length BMC Night Beat is on Friday, February 7, 7:30pm at First Congregational Church, 2401 Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham. No ticket purchase required; we suggest a $20 donation. All are welcome and students are always free!
