In observance of National Nutrition Month, join us Saturday March 1 for a drop-in family-friendly art activity between 10:30am and 12:30pm, and a tour of “The Art of Food” exhibition beginning at 11:00am. Staff and students from WSU’s Tukey Orchard will also be part of the experience at the museum during this program.
FAMILY FRIENDLY ACTIVITY: Collage Garden, 10:30am–12:30pm
Enjoy a collage-making activity engaging themes of gardening and community. With K-3 ages in mind, older children and adults are also welcome. One adult from your party should remain with children and young adults at all times. This is a drop-in program, so you may get involved anytime between 10:30am-12:30pm.
EXHIBITION TOUR: “The Art of Food”, 11:00–11:45am
Tour selected artworks in “The Art of Food, From the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation”, with National Nutrition Month in mind. Open discussion among tour participants will be encouraged throughout the tour, led by Kristin Becker, Curator of Education & Programs.
Free and open to the public, with donations welcome.
LOCATION | The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU is located in the Crimson Cube (on Wilson Road across from Martin Stadium and the CUB) on the WSU Pullman campus.
