Central Washington Dance Academy Presents The Nutcracker

Central Washington Dance Academy brings the traditional holiday classic of The Nutcracker to life this December. Danced to Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score, this ballet is sure to delight and entertain audience members of all ages. Join Clara as she embarks on a whimsical journey after being gifted a nutcracker on Christmas Eve. Magic surrounds Clara as her beloved doll comes to life in a battle with the fearsome Rat Queen. Clara’s heroism leads to their victory, and the Nutcracker invites her on an adventure to the Land of Sweets to meet the Sugar Plum Fairy. All too soon, the magic fades, and Clara finds herself back home on Christmas morning wondering if her amazing journey was all a dream. With three enchanting performances, you are sure to be swept up in the holiday cheer of CWDA’s classic Nutcracker tale.
