All ages are invited to join us at the Richland Public Library for a day of demonstrations, illustrations, hands-on activities, and presentations of Native American arts, crafts, and culture! Sponsored by: American Indian Science & Engineering Society, Columbia River Professional Chapter. AISES is a national nonprofit organization focused on substantially increasing the representation of Indigenous peoples of North America and the Pacific Islands in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) studies and careers.
Schedule Highlights:
12 pm: Native American storytelling
10 am – 3 pm: Traditional Native American Foods & Lodges
10 am – 3 pm: Native American Artifacts, Crafts, and Tools Displays
10 am – 3 pm: Rock Art, Tee Pee construction and decorating, Totem Poles, Tule Mat construction
10 am – 3 pm: Duck decoys, dream catchers, puzzles, games, drawing, coloring, etc.
