Buskers in the Burg

September 28 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Experience the eccentric, eclectic, and purely entertaining talents of local street performers, live puppets, circus acts, and more on September 28, 2024.

Buskers in the Burg is back, and this time main stage acts perform at Unity Park! Join us from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. throughout Downtown Ellensburg and at Unity Park for this free, family-friendly event.

Buskers (street performers) will be spread around the downtown core and rely on your votes to win cash prizes. The busker with the most votes will also have a chance to perform on the Unity Park main stage.

Ellensburg’s Blue Bear Puppet Lab will bring their imagination and creativity in the form of a roaming puppet production. This year’s production will feature a “Murder of Crows”, moving trees, and interactive performances for children and families.

TwinSpin is a hula hoop and circus arts duo hailing from the Pacific Northwest. TwinSpin has performed at Buskers in the Burg for years, and looks forward to bringing their hula hoop and circus acts to the main stage.

For the first time, “Mini Buskers” will join the entertainment lineup. These up-and-coming youth performers from Make Music Ellensburg will showcase their talents on the main stage.

Additional family activities include a petting zoo, face painting, rock painting, sensory activities for toddlers, and more.

The full map and schedule will be available soon at www.ellensburgdowntown.org/events.
