Emerging from the vibrant music scene of Seattle, D’Vonne Lewis’ LIMITED EDITION (DLLE)
stands at the forefront of modern jazz, blending elements of funk, R&B, and fusion into their
innovative sound. Formed in 2012 by acclaimed drummer and composer D’Vonne Lewis, DLLE
has evolved into a powerhouse ensemble renowned for its dynamic live shows and virtuosic
musicianship.

DLLE’s sound is a modern jazz tapestry interwoven with threads of funk and fusion, inspired by
legends like Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, Weather Report, and Herbie Hancock. The band is
celebrated for its original compositions, featuring epic solos and the aggressive, intricate
drumming of D’Vonne Lewis.

Each member of DLLE brings a wealth of experience and acclaim to the ensemble:
● D’Vonne Lewis: Four-time NW Instrumentalist of the Year (2023, 2021, 2018, 2013),
grandson of Northwest organ legend Dave Lewis, and Vice President of the Seattle Jazz
Fellowship Board.
● Cliff Colón: 2023 Earshot Award-winning NW Alternative Jazz Group for his band, Jazz
Overhaul.
● Farko Dosumov: Also performs with the acclaimed band Duende Libre.
● Jacques Willis: First-call vibraphone player, performing with various local and
world-renowned bands.
