Nimiipuu Health in Lapwai will hold free medical and dental clinics this month in partnership with the Idaho National Guard, which will offer medical treatment as part of Guardmen’s training.
Two clinics will be held in Idaho: One, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 13 to 17 at Lapwai Elementary School in Lapwai and the other from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 13 and 14 at Kamiah High School in Kamiah.
The Lapwai location will offer both medical and dental services, while the Kamiah location will only provide medical services. No appointments are necessary, and clinics are open to all members of the public.
Dr. Kim Hartwig, medical director at Nimiipuu Health, said the collaboration represents a significant step forward in the Nimiipuu Health staff’s efforts to ensure community members’ well-being.
“We are thrilled to again join hands with the Idaho National Guard to extend the reach of Nimiipuu Health and provide crucial medical services to those in need,” she said.
