How Many Lives Does a TabiKat Live? – With Moscow Duo Kathy Sprague and Tabitha Simmons
Tabitha Simmons and Kathy Sprague, partners in business and in marriage, have created and held space for queer folks in the town of Moscow, Idaho for years. They have inspired many people to be themselves by creating safe spaces for self-exploration and simply showing them that it’s possible to exist as a queer person in a rural town. Together this couple founded a comic, costume, and adult novelty shop, and started a drag performance group called TabiKat Productions. In this episode of ‘Traverse Talks’ with Sueann Ramella, Kathy and Tabitha discuss the story of how they fell in love, how they became the first legally married same-sex couple in Idaho, and their experience witnessing and supporting their loved ones as they passed on from this life. Also hear an eye-opening discussion about the misconceptions and realities about drag performances.
