Calling All Dogs Of The Inland NW: Photography Project Aims To Raise Funds For Spokane Humane Society

A new photography project will feature images of people and dogs from the Pacific Northwest in a limited edition collector’s book.

Paws of the Inland Northwest is the second edition of a series launched last year
by Angela Schneider.

“Dogs make us go outside, and do things, and we meet new people because of our dogs. We have new experiences because of our dogs, and let’s tell that story,” she says.

Schneider said her first book had stories about service dogs, wheelchair dogs, and even a bait dog used for fighting. She said that same dog has now hiked almost every mountain in North Idaho.

Schneider is currently seeking adventurous dogs and their human companions who want to be featured in the book.

Each photo session is $100 plus sales tax. Fifty dollars of each session will be donated to the Spokane Humane Society.

Schneider says she is always looking to help dogs in need. Her fundraising goal is $10,000 dollars.

Photoshoots will be held at locations throughout North Idaho and Eastern Washington from now until September. More information can be found at Schneider’s website.
