Cara Williams Fry comes to NWPB from Central Pennsylvania where she served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Content Officer at WITF. She was the driving force in growing the newsroom staff, establishing news programming, documentaries and multi-platform projects. Her groundbreaking work in co-creating and launching PA Post resulted in the first statewide digital news organization in Pennsylvania.

On a national level, she was the managing producer of a syndicated wildlife program from NBC Enterprises. Throughout her career, she has dedicated a lot of personal and professional time creating numerous stories for the Children’s Miracle Network.

Cara loves being with family and friends, as well as photography, jazz and dogs (she freely acknowledges that three puppies are a lot to handle).
