ALMOST REALLY GOOD – Reno+Monroe

December 13 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Event Series Event Series (See All)
Free

Lynn Hanson Gallery is delighted to host a joint exhibit of Portland artists Jesse Reno and Melissa Monroe. Partners in life and in art, their works complement each other.
Melissa Monroe’s multi-disciplinary artwork is a personal display of vulnerable emotions, created in textiles, sculpture and acrylic paintings. Her tufting pieces have generated national acclaim and have enabled her vision to be intertwined between these mediums.
Jesse Reno’s abstract mixed media paintings have been collected internationally, having been shown in over 100 galleries. His workshops have inspired attendees with his Ideas, techniques and philosophy. For him, paintings is finding treasure, engaging emotions in an unrestrained way, and learning to move with mistakes rather than seeking to make the perfect piece.
Located in the heart of Pioneer Square, Lynn Hanson Gallery is a contemporary art gallery – a welcoming space full of approachable art. Open First Thursdays from 5 to 8:15 pm, and Friday-Saturdays from 11 am to 4 pm.
