For ROTC student, a path to a degree

A leap of faith led Marcellena Ebarb to Air Force ROTC and a desire to serve her country.
From a class of 70 cadets, Ebarb is one of 15 students to complete the AFROTC program at Washington State University in 2023. Before graduating and earning her master’s degree in strategic communications, Ebarb trained for her qualified fitness review and reflected on her time leading about 100 cadets.
“It is weird to think that there’s going to be a time where we don’t all get up and go to PT [physical training or drive to L-Lab [leadership lab] together, but it’s also exciting because I know we’re all on our paths, and we’ll cross paths again,” she said.
