The Newest Addition to Apartment Land That Makes the Palouse Feel Like A Resort

Pullman, Wash.- One of the newest additions to Apartmentland here in Pullman is called The Retreat. It has been open for only a year now since August of 2020 and many students at Washington State University are living there. 

Lexi Curry, a senior at WSU works the front desk at The Retreat and spoke about what makes it different from other apartments located near WSU. She said that the biggest difference from opening during the pandemic to now is that there are a lot more residents. Many students found out about The Retreat on their social media such as Instagram or their YouTube ads.

“It’s a lot more lively than it was last year,” said Lexi regarding students coming back to Pullman due to classes being held in person again. 

The Retreat comes with all sorts of amenities such as a heated pool, 24-hour gym, a computer lab with free printing, study pods, and a golf simulator. Lexi also said that they call the apartments “cottages” and they each are fully furnished so that students don’t have to haul any big couches over or spend money on furniture.
