The Underground Martini Bunker Has A New Pad

The Retro Cocktail Hour may be moving from Northwest Public Broadcasting’s NPR and Classical Music service, but it already has a well-established second home on the NWPB Jazz station, KJEM 89.9FM.

For fans of the funky, vintage-futuristic show who live outside of KJEMs terrestrial signal, catch it on our NWPB App through a smartphone, or stream The Retro Cocktail Hour here.

It airs same day, same time, just at a different address for the underground Martini bunker. That’s 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, PST on Saturdays.

For jazz fans of any description, there are several great programs that KJEM offers throughout the week, including Jazz at 100 –  a weekly special about the history of a century’s worth of jazz recordings – it airs Thursdays at 7:00 PM, PST.

Jazz at 100 covers the Rag Time and Dixieland beginnings of Jazz through the Big Band era and beyond.
